Jones was also a member of the team that finished second in the 100-meter relay. Jones has won indoor hurdles at NCAA championships in 2003 as well as 2004. Jones started her career in 2005 after she completed her degree. She started training for a successful track career. Jones won both in the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races during the same season.
The family was raised and born in Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt was cast in the role as Naevia in the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Her character was popular with audiences and producers Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen was a popular DC/Vertigo comics character and she played her on the Netflix hit series Lucifer for six years. Forbes declared Lucifer the most binged-out show of 2021. Brandt's next appearance is in an episode of six in the Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. Other Netflix shows include animated comedy Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter, Anthony Carrigan, and Chris Meloni. This will premiere in the month of July 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born on 2nd December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa. She is an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire New Zealand family to Auckland in the year 1999. After several years working in the retail sector her promotion was to IT manager consultant. Lesley's professional career started with few model projects. Her appearances then included many commercial ads. She graduated in 2008 from her studies and enrolled in Meisner study methods. Lesley's first big role in New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street acting as support actor. She also appeared on a Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand in the role of Naevia, a hostage who then appeared in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
